Noble & Murat LBV 2014 Port Wine
Noble & Murat is one of the historic Port Wine houses, with roots that date back to the 18th century. The first reference and description of the production process of a Late Bottled Vintage belongs to one of the partners of this firm. In 2012, two descendants of renowned Douro farmers’ families, who produced some of the reference wines of the Port Wine sector during the last centuries, decided to revive this brand, trying to put in each bottle all the knowledge and tradition accumulated over generations. Stage: In small vats and stainless steel vats for 4 years. 8,000 bottles were bottled. Lying down in a cool, dry place away from light. It has a good aging potential, subject to creating deposits over time. Grape varieties: very old vines with mixed varieties, originating from six plots located in the sub-region of Cima Corgo.

Reveals an initial attack on black fruit, with excellent structure and acidity. The tannins are polished although very present. It is lively and intense, with a long and persistent finish.
Excellent for chocolate and cheese based desserts.
