Cara a Cara Reserve Red 2017 (Douro)
Red wine with aging potential of 15 years. The aroma is mild, floral and with a hint of oak at the end. Light bodied, red fruit tones with a good aftertaste. Vinification: fermentation takes place with very little mechanical action, low reassembly intensity and 2 “délestage”, to preserve the elegance. Post-fermentative maceration, where the wine is separated from the films that will later be pressed. This technique allows to increase the longevity of wines by reducing astringency.
