Procura Red Susana Esteban (Alentejo)
“For two years I searched all over the Alentejo for great vineyards to make my wine. It was only in 2011 that I finally found two plots of vineyards, both completely different. One of the plots is an Alicante Bouschet, of very low production planted in schist soils, near Évora, with an excellent climate for the good maturation of this variety. In Portalegre I found a traditional vineyard in a much cooler area than the rest of the Alentejo. A vineyard with a mixture of grape varieties and very low production, which adds an unusual freshness and complexity. The combination of these two parcels gave rise to a unique and extraordinary wine.” Production of 2,140 bottles.

Dark red color.
Powerful but sharp, austere but still delicate on tannins, it ends up fresh and vigorous.
Excellent with all kinds of meat dishes, especially for accompany grilled meats.
Fruity and intense but without any traces of over maturation, it shows intriguing tobacco leaves notes, pencil lead and a powerful mineral sensation that combine with a slight vegetal feeling that adds tension and complexity.
