It was only in 2011 that I finally found two plots of vineyards, both completely different. One of the plots is an Alicante Bouschet, of very low production planted in schist soils, near \u00c9vora, with an excellent climate for the good maturation of this variety. In Portalegre I found a traditional vineyard in a much cooler area than the rest of the Alentejo. A vineyard with a mixture of grape varieties and very low production, which adds an unusual freshness and complexity.
