Serra do Alvelhe Premium (Cow and Sheep Mix)
This exclusive cheese is a ripened cheese made from pure cow and sheep’s milk. It has a very soft, ivory coloured paste, smooth and balanced flavour, with an elegant rustic touch to the sheep. The careful selection and the very special affinage confers the cheese an incredible spreadable interior and a less bold profile than the Traditional Sheep. All this exquisite richness is preserved with wax protection. Ideal for special occasions, it will stand out not only for its personality, its texture and the way of consumption but also for its harmonious taste. Ideal temperature for consumption: 16 ºC.
Should be served a couple of hours after taking it from the fridge and the wax removed and then scooping out the creamy paste with a spoon or knife. Savor this exquisite cheese with bold red wines or vintage Porto wines, red meats, cold meats and a good selection of breads or toasts or crackers.
