Louriana XO DOC Old Brandy Lourinhã

Brandy produced in the Demarcated Region of Louriana, the only Demarcated Region in Portugal and one of three in Europe, exclusively from brandy. Prepared under strict method, distilled from carefully selected wines and aged in oak barrels. Its elegance and aroma provide rare moments of tasting and pleasure. Brownish topaz color and greenish hints, intense and fruity aroma, with notes of vanilla, wood, coffee and dried fruits. In the mouth it is soft, sweet, with a slight but persistent smoked taste. Varieties: Tália, Alicante Branco, Malvasia Rei. Best served at a temperature around 18-20ºC. This spirit of wine can be consumed immediately after bottling or stored and aged for many, many years. Good as a digestive after a good meal and accompanied by a good cigar.
