Farinheira da Beira (Casa da Prisca)

Traditional, and a distinctive product of the Beiras, this has an intense flavor of garlic and chili paste. It is served as a side dish, cooked or fried, in traditional Portuguese dishes.

Made from a combination of soft and consistent fats from ground pork (loin and ribs), wheat flour, corn and water. Seasoned with salt, garlic, white wine, white pepper, cinnamon, bay leaf, pepper and nutmeg.
