Magnum bottle! Excellent cost-benefit ratio! Similar wines usually cost 70% more (Vivino). One of the oldest vineyards of the Alves de Sousa family. Overlooked at the top of Encosta da Gaivosa, with countless indigenous grape varieties and almost more rocks than vines. Locals have long known it as “The Abandoned”. Last units in stock! It was bottled in honor of the equally unique old vineyards in the Douro, which will one day disappear. A very structured wine, with an almost millimeter definition, very complex, dense, but at the same time full of balance and elegance.
