Envelope Red and White DOC Dão Ribeiro Santo

This Envelope carries feelings and emotions, carries love, friendship, joy and is an appeal to unity and interaction. An Envelope that freezes time and makes us travel, awakening extraordinary aromas of a real nectar from the Dão region in each one of us, signed by the winemaker Carlos Lucas. Envelope White and Red wines have a minimalist design with creative details that reflect the brand identity, which represents a personalized stamp with Ribeiro Santo’s iconography. Tasting Notes Red (2016): very fresh, mineral aroma, with wild fruits, spices notes. In the mouth it is fresh, with a well-marked acidity, very polished tannins and a long, deep and delicate finish. It aged for 12 months in 300-liter barrels and then remained in the bottle for another 8 months before leaving for the market. Tasting Notes White (2016): delicate aroma with notes of white fruit, aromatic herbs and with a mineral profile. In the mouth tasting it shows complexity and freshness, with a refreshing minerality and citric acidity. Winemakers Carlos Lucas, then fermented in 300L barrels and aged there, with battonage, for 6 months. After bottling, we kept the wine in the cellar for another 6 months.
