Herdade do Mouchão Mouchão Tonel 3-4

It is an aristocratic wine, deep and opaque, which combines a muscular and manly facet with the subtlety we recognize to the great ones (also from Portugal). Considered the best expression of the unique “terroir” of Herdade do Mouchão, after fermentation in lagares and proven its exceptional quality, the wine is transferred to the 3 and 4 casks of Portuguese oak, macacaúba and mahogany, where it matures for 24 months. After being reassessed and with quality confirmed again, the wine is bottled and rests for 24 to 36 months in a climate-controlled environment. It’s very limited production occurs only in years of exceptional quality, which gives it an iconic status. A wine that not only rewards the loyalty of its followers, but will also delight the lovers of exceptional wines.
